Think back to your childhood. Did you ever feel the sting of exclusion during a game of tag? Or the pressure to conform to fit in with a certain group? This is the essence of peer pressure, a powerful force that shapes our sense of belonging during our formative years.

The need for acceptance continues to evolve as we navigate different life stages. As young adults, we might yearn for validation from romantic partners, pouring our energy into being “good enough” for them. Starting a new job triggers a similar desire to find our place within a team and feel acknowledged for our contributions.
